Funeral chit-chat

As we were walking around the graveyard, I was answering many questions. "Can we dig someone up?" "Is that illegal?" And Wyatt has informed me that one of his burial wishes is to be buried with his head, hands and feet exposed just like the cool skeletons in peoples front yards in their halloween decor. Oh my. Yikes!

Sadie has a new cute little friend who is black. She is also adopted. We had stopped by tonight and after we had left Wyatt asked -

"Why is Sadies friend black, I mean brown, and her mom is....Peach??"

Sadie and I just laughed and laughed. Peach?? LOL!!

Dayton was doing his homework this morning. He was matching capital letters to lowercase. A couple times he was really into it and as he was drawing the line from one to it's match..

"come to papa!"
